Missed-Call Text-Back
The simplest version of the same problem: a call you couldn't take, and a caller who's already dialling somebody else.

Somebody calls, it rings out, they hang up. Maybe they leave a voicemail — most don't. What they do is go back to the search results and call the next number, and you find out about it later or never.
It isn't that you were rude. It's that silence reads as closed. A text that lands while they're still holding the phone reads as open.

- Setting up the reply on your existing number — nothing changes about how your phone works
- Writing the text in your words, not a template: who you are, that you saw the call, when you'll ring back
- A different reply outside your hours, so a Sunday-night caller isn't promised a call in ten minutes
- Making sure it only fires on a genuinely missed call, never on one you answered
- Changing the wording whenever you want — it's a text message, not a system
Where to start if you're not sure
If an assistant answering your line feels like more than you want, start here. It's one text, sent automatically, and it doesn't talk to anybody. You still make the call back.

Does it text people who call and get through?
No. It only fires when a call goes unanswered. If you pick up, nothing is sent.
What does the text say?
Whatever you'd say. Usually your name, that you saw the call, and when you'll ring back — two lines. Outside your hours it says that instead, so nobody is promised a callback at midnight.
What if they text back?
It comes to your phone like any other text, and you carry on the conversation yourself. The automatic part is only the first message.
Can I turn it off?
Any time — text me and it's off. It's a switch, not a contract.
