Website Design

Every site I build starts empty. No template, no theme, no drag-and-drop builder with your logo dropped into somebody else's layout.

No deposit. Nothing to sign to see it.

What "custom" actually means here

A template asks your business to fit the design. I do it the other way around. A plumber who runs 24-hour emergency calls needs a phone number that's impossible to miss on a phone screen at 2am. A bakery needs its cases photographed and its cake-order lead time stated plainly. A fence contractor needs the difference between chain link, wood, and pipe laid out where somebody can compare them.

Those are different websites. They shouldn't come out of the same box.

What's in every site I build

  • Pages that load fast on a phone on a truck's data connection, not just on office wifi
  • Your phone number as a tap-to-call link on every single page
  • Your real services written out, in the words your customers actually use
  • Your hours, your service area, and how to reach you — findable in one tap
  • The technical groundwork search engines look for, set up correctly and quietly
  • Text big enough to read and contrast strong enough to see in daylight

You see it finished, not sketched

I don't send mockups or wireframes for approval. Those are a way of getting you to commit to something that doesn't exist yet. Instead I build the actual website, put it on a live link, and send you the link.

What you open is what your customers would open. If it's right, it's yours. If it isn't, tell me what's wrong and I'll change it — or walk away and owe me nothing.

Fair questions

While we're on it

What does it cost?

One flat price for the build, then one monthly figure that covers the hosting, the domain, the certificate and any updates you want. It's the same for a one-page shop and a five-page contractor, so there's no quote to sit and wait on.

Ask me and I'll tell you straight away. What I won't do is post it here ahead of the work — you see your finished website on a live link before you're asked for any of it. No deposit, ever, and nothing to sign to look.

How long does it take?

Not long — most of the work happens before you've committed to anything, which is the whole point. Tell me about your business and I'll tell you when to expect your link.

What if I want something changed?

Tell me and I'll change it. That's true before you've paid and it stays true afterwards — new hours, new photos, a new service, a new phone number. Send it over and it goes up.

There's no ticket system and no editor for you to learn. A text message is the fastest way to update your website.

See yours before you decide

Tell me about your business and I'll build it. You'll be looking at your finished website, on a live link, before the question of money comes up at all.
