Custom AI Tools & Automation
Every business has a job somebody does by hand every day because that's how it's always been done. A lot of those jobs don't need a person any more. Some don't even need AI — just a small piece of software nobody has written yet.

Custom software, sized for a small business. Sometimes that's a small web app — a request form that does more than send an email, or a simple tracker for jobs. Sometimes it's a workflow that runs on its own: messages that sort themselves, a summary that arrives every morning. Sometimes it's connecting two tools you already pay for, so nobody types the same details twice.
AI goes where it's genuinely useful — reading, sorting, summarizing, drafting — and stays out of the places it isn't, like quoting prices or making promises to customers.
Who it's for
Owners who can point at a task and say "I do this every day and I hate it." Re-typing, copying details from one program to another, chasing the same paperwork. If you can describe the job in a few sentences, it's worth a conversation.
What's included
- A conversation about the job first — how it's done now, step by step, and where it goes wrong
- A plain description of what I'd build, before I build it
- The tool itself: a small web app, an automated workflow, or an integration between the systems you already use
- A record of what it did, so a person can check it and step in when something looks wrong
- Hosting and upkeep, so it keeps working when the services it connects to change
- Changes as your business changes — tell me what's different and it gets updated
How it fits with the rest
Two of these come ready-made: the AI receptionist, which answers the calls you can't, and missed-call text-back, which texts back the ones you miss. Neither one quotes a price or makes a promise — they find out what the customer needs and get it to you. Everything I build here follows the same rule.
A smaller example is live now: the contact form on AW Marketing's site saves every inquiry on the server first, then emails it to the owner, so a mail problem can't lose a customer. That's the kind of small, unglamorous tool this is about. And if a tool needs a public face, it can live on your website.
Fair questions
While we're on it
Do I need to understand AI to use this?
No. If it's built right, what you'll notice is that a job you used to do just gets done — and you'll know where to look when you want to check on it.
What happens when it gets something wrong?
Sometimes it will. So everything I build keeps a record of what it did, and keeps a person in charge of anything that costs money or makes a promise. When something's off, you tell me and I fix it.

AI Receptionist
When you can't pick up — nights, weekends, up a ladder — an assistant answers, takes the caller's name, number and what they need, and texts it to you straight away.
Every call answered · you get a text -
Missed-Call Text-Back
Phone rings, nobody picks up, and the caller gets a text from you within seconds — so they don't move on to the next name on the list.
Missed it · they still hear back -

Tell me about the job you hate
Call or text me and describe it in a few sentences. I'll tell you plainly whether it's worth building — and if it isn't, I'll say that too.
