Paid Ads
Ads are the quickest way to get in front of people who are looking for you right now. They're also the quickest way to spend money on clicks that go nowhere. The difference is mostly setup, and paying attention afterwards.

I set up and run ads in the places local customers look. Google Ads put you in the paid results at the top of a search. Google Local Services Ads put your business, your rating and a call button at the very top for many trades, once Google has screened you. Facebook and Instagram ads put you in front of people in your area while they scroll.
Then I keep watching them — adjusting, and pausing what isn't working — and once a month you get a plain report on what ran and what came of it.
Who it's for
Businesses with room for more work and a phone that gets answered. An ad's job is to make the phone ring. If you're already booked out for weeks, or the calls go to voicemail, the money is better spent elsewhere first — and I'll say so.
It also suits a business that needs to be found this month rather than whenever search rankings catch up: a new business, a new service, a new town.
Your ad budget goes to the platform, not to me
You pay Google and Meta directly, on your own card, in your own ad accounts. The spend never passes through me, and you can see every charge yourself.
Running the ads is my side of it. That's a separate arrangement from the spend, and we settle it before anything goes live.
What's included
- Ad accounts set up in your business's name and billed to your card
- Google Ads: the searches you show up for, the ads themselves, the area and hours they run, and the searches you never want to pay for
- Google Local Services Ads: your profile, services and service area, and help getting through Google's screening
- Facebook and Instagram ads: who sees them by area, the ad itself — image or short video — and where it sends people
- Call and message tracking, so the report counts customers rather than clicks
- Ongoing management: budgets, adjustments, and switching off whatever isn't paying its way
- A plain-English report every month, and a check-in to go through it
How it fits with the rest
An ad is only as good as where it lands. A click that lands on a website with your number at the top becomes a call; one that lands on an outdated page mostly doesn't.
Local Services Ads lean on your Google Business Profile and your reviews, and a ringing phone you can't get to is what missed-call text-back is for. Ads also stop the day the budget does — SEO is the slower side of the same job, and it keeps working afterwards.
Fair questions
While we're on it
How much should I spend on ads?
It depends on your trade, your town and how much work you can take on. I'd rather start small enough that it's an experiment, not a bet, and only spend more once the calls show it's worth it.
Can you guarantee a number of calls?
No, and nobody honest can. What I can promise is that the ads are set up properly, watched, and reported on in plain words — and if they aren't paying their way, I'll tell you to stop.

Call or text me with your trade and your town, and I'll tell you which kind of ad, if any, makes sense for you. If your website isn't ready to send ad clicks to, I'll build you a free demo of a better one first.
